Carolyn Butler

Chief Executive Officer

Carolyn has over 25 years experience in the financial services industry, the past 15 years of which have been in Asia. She has extensive experience and knowledge of the trust, investment, financial services, retirement schemes, and insurance industries.

Prior to joining The Hong Kong Trust Company Carolyn was CEO of The Henlyn Group Ltd, a consultancy company she founded 10 years ago which specializes in advice on business development and investment and financial structuring. Prior to establishing The Henlyn Group Ltd she was the Managing Director of AIA Pension and Trustee Company for 5 years.

Carolyn is Chairman of the Hong Kong Trustees’ Association, a fellow of the Hong Kong Securities Institute and a member of numerous other associations. She lectures at HKU Space on trustee/director duties. She has an MBA, a Master of Business Law and is currently undertaking a PhD.
